Donation for earthquake victims
We established Disaster Support Committee after earthquake (6,9 richter scale)which occurred on 30/10/2020 in Izmir. The Committee analyzed the damage. We provided support to members of the local community affected by the earthquake with a budget of 50000 €. This Support was coordinated by the Metropolitan Municipal Authority who channeled it to eligible fellow citizens as all other contributions. We also provided some support to our employees who suffered loses from the earthquake.

HELIOS donates disinfectant for surfaces and hands in Slovenia
During the coronavirus pandemic HELIOS‘s companies offered a hand to several organizations whose efforts were crucial for curbing the spread of the coronavirus in Slovenia. HELIOS’s companies donated more than 1,200 litters of HELIOS disinfectant for hands and surfaces in half-liter packaging to schools, kindergartens, health centres, nursing homes and other institutions. The company Belinka Perkemija donated 10,000 liters of Belox HP6 disinfectant to the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief.

Low Temperature Curing Emulsion Coating for Domestic Heating Radiators
Kansai Altan Boya San. (Turkey) is implementing a switch plan which involves introducing a new emulsion-based primer for domestic heating radiators. The current water reducible technology requires a considerably high energy in curing, releasing also high amounts of volatile organic compounds to the environment. The focus of the current project is to reduce the environmental impact of conventional product by reducing both the energy requirement and the amount of VOC released to the environment, which occur simultaneously during drying and curing the product in customer paint shops.
